1 Corinthians 3:3
for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men?
One can not grow into holiness, but he can only grow in it. Holiness consists of taking out the old and adding the new....
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself...
But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
